The cost of the x2 click cookies should increase by 10 each purchase, otherwise the game is basically over once you can buy anything on the final page of powerups. Well, the game is pretty much over once you can buy anything from the penultimate page as for a game called 'cookie clicker', clicking the cookie will have become long irrelevant by then.
Also, I played version 3 briefly and it looked a mess. And the hack version was pretty much how this game looks now for me, but in the space of about half a minute.
